Dwarven Conspiracy Theory
Now I am not one to necessarily believe every crazy idea I hear, but after listening on long night of Hergenzia partying to Waddle Plontfoot - I am not certain that there is not some credence to the theory that either Witches robbed the Dwarven Cave Bank to fund their entrance into the Montrolla War or that it was an inside job or at least an allied job from none other than the Dwill Judiciary Classes to fund their own ambitions and the war effort from our side. Either way it's shocking news. The newspapers won't touch either story though Casby's Leaflets of Truth does expand on the Witch theory. They do have magic that they could use to penetrate those deep vaults way beneath the earth. What else could fool Dwarven guards and countermeasures? I wish Belium Brownsea and the Northender Gazette would weigh in on this case. Anyone who travelled with old Pindby Broomwhistle in Montrolla can be trusted. Well that's what I think.. A Day by the Lake
What a relaxing day it was today. Just what a good Dwill enjoys most. I took a couple of the regional newspapers to Dwarmy Lake and plopped myself down by an old tree with my feet wading in the water. I got to read about tons of adventures happening here and there. Of course the Big War is still going on. I don't believe everything they write about it - but it does look like our boys are doing well over there in Montrolla even though new types of monsters are being thrown at them all the time.
I did notice that the Great Detective Pindby B. Broomwhistle has retired to the oceanside. Must have been that reward from Bombadas Mistleharsh he got for rescuing his daughter. That kind of money can sure help one out. I wish I could be a great detective like old Pindby, but sitting here with my feet in the cool water on a hot summer day and daydreaming about will do just fine.

A People like the Hobbits
Dwills are sort of like Hobbits, but different. They are short. They enjoy recreation and drink. But also they have an ambitious side. Just the other day I went to my Uncle's factory in Startsmore - it's in the far west of the Dwill Lands. Uncle Calvin is a good example of how industrious Dwills have become. He has 14 workers that work 8 days a week in rotation. He started making leather straps metal fixings to help supply the army for the Big War in Montrolla. He is always coming up with new ideas on how to make money. It is a big past time of most Dwills these days. Me, Dillweed Cromos, well I'm a dreamer and a poet. A little unusual for Dwills these days. I like hearing stories of adventurous Dwills and I will tell you are few - I read all the papers looking for new stories. I find some myself during my travels in the west too. Though the west is not very popular amongst Dwills. The Gnomes are too close some say. Well I can tell you a few stories about Gnomes too...
